With good friends

One of the main directions of our activity within the project Access to a better life - Integrated services for people with disabilities is that of information. Information about disability and especially about the somatic and psychoemotional recovery of those who cross our threshold and beyond. And one way in which we were able to support the recovery of several people, by providing accurate information, was to participate in a cycle of conferences with the aim of educating oncological patients and their relatives.

A(cceptance) D(giving) L(human)

A few weeks ago I went to the Bihor Locomotive Disabled Association for the first time. Here, through the project Access to a better life - Integrated services for people with disabilities, we started to hold group meetings for the psycho-emotional well-being of the beneficiaries. Our topics of discussion focused on the needs of the participants, which we already learned from the first meeting.

"And, we're back on the faculty benches..."

In January of this year, through a collaboration that we have with the faculty of Geography, Tourism and Sport - the specialization of Physiotherapy and Special Motricity, we gave a presentation to the students, which addressed two related topics:

            Medical devices – catalysts in prophylaxis and convalescence and

            The psychoemotional impact of disability on patients and their relatives.
