A few weeks ago I went to the Bihor Locomotive Disabled Association for the first time. Here, through the project Access to a better life - Integrated services for people with disabilities, we started to hold group meetings for the psycho-emotional well-being of the beneficiaries. Our topics of discussion focused on the needs of the participants, which we already learned from the first meeting.

Every time we meet with the people of ADL we try to combine practice with theory, expand our repertoire of knowledge and leave behind us a smile or at least a little more clarity in the minds and souls of those we met there . We know what we go to them with, but what we leave there with is much more special: we leave with a good mood, with life stories, with positive emotions and recharged energy batteries.
Our meetings will continue from now on, with many new and interesting topics, such as: understanding and awareness of emotions, accepting and managing them, identifying beliefs about oneself and others, managing negative attitudes of those around, self-knowledge activities and self-confidence, relating assertively to others and more.
We enjoy this collaboration! Alfred Adler said "It doesn't matter what you have, it matters what you do with what you have", we chose to use what we have in the interest of others. So, in a few words, group meetings with the ADL are: light, warmth, excitement and support.
