Cake Day

One of the most important and touching activities of the association is the "Cake Day", organized since the first months of the ’’Association's life’’.

This project, organized together with the Association of Medical students from Oradea, consists in the creation of a cake fair organized both on the occasion of winter and Easter holidays; within this fair, cakes made by the Association’s volunteers are sold. The purpose of this project is to raise funds for the fulfillment of the projects of the Association but, moreover, the manner in which the project is carried out allows each person who buys a cake, even if he is not a volunteer within the Association, to become an integral part of our vision, "gear" from the Help & Care Mechanism ‘’mechanism’’.

The funds raised following each edition of “Cake day” have completed the financial needs for supporting children (from orphanages and foster care centers) and elderly people (from social shelters and shelters) in Bihor County. The “Cake day” events took place in several locations, starting with Oradea City and continuing with various faculties of Oradea University.

Cake day is more than an activity, it is more than a tradition, it is a state of mind that we try to bring to the souls of the needy, year after year, on these holidays.
