Detect and save

Thanks to Swimathon Oradea 2025, an event organized by the Oradea Community Foundation, dedicated to causes that change the community for the better, we had the honor of participating with a project that is extremely dear and necessary to us: "Track and Rescue!", an initiative aimed at purchasing a portable ultrasound machine for breast cancer screening.

Unfortunately, breast cancer remains the most common oncological condition among women under 50. Starting from this painful reality, we aim to bring prevention closer to women in the community. With the help of the portable ultrasound, we will be able to offer free screening for 300 women directly at the workplace – in the Oradea Industrial Park –, eliminating barriers related to costs, appointments and waiting lists.

The project brings multiple benefits: quick access to investigations, increased awareness of the importance of periodic check-ups, reduced anxiety related to medical investigations and, in the long term, decongestion of the public health system.

This initiative would not have been possible without the support of good people who donated with confidence, but especially without the effort and involvement of our ambassadors: Silviu Vlad, Drimba Enikő, Abrudan Carla, Cherecheș Denisa, Alina Prada and Gati GabriellaThey were the ones who carried the message forward and managed to mobilize the community around a cause that matters.
