Having coffee with the doctor

"A coffee with the doctor" is a cycle of events organized by the Help & Care Association, which brings the community closer to medical professionals, in an informal, relaxed and friendly setting.

The events began more than a year ago, out of the desire to humanize the patient-doctor relationship and create an authentic space for dialogue and mutual understanding.

Every month, on the last Saturday, we meet with a guest doctor, who shares with us the experiences, challenges and joys of his profession. So far, we have had the honor of sitting down to stories with doctors from various specialties: from neurosurgery, emergency medicine and oncology, to neonatology. The discussions are moderated by Luminița Popa, with empathy, curiosity and a touch of humor. Participants can ask questions and discover, beyond the lab coat, the man who chose to "do good" every day.

The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and the coffee is always on our side. We always enjoy a large and curious audience, and this interest shows us how great the need is for direct, honest, and accessible information.

The events take place at Street Coffee Roasters – Oradea Shopping City, a reliable partner of our project. "Coffee with the Doctor" is not just a meeting, but a bridge of trust between the community and the medical system. Each edition leaves behind smiles, emotions and a deeper understanding of the medical world.
